Guide: Dr. D. R. Patel, Research Scientist (Entomology), RCRS
Conducted a comprehensive field investigation during the Kharif season focusing on the population dynamics and management of sucking pests in a okra crop. The research successfully evaluated the bio-efficacy of various treatment modules, directly comparing innovative biorational approaches—including entomopathogenic fungi and botanical extracts—against conventional synthetic insecticides to establish highly effective, sustainable Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies.
