Thesis
Conducted field surveys across Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri and Coimbatore districts of Tamil Nadu to assess the incidence and abundance of flea beetle infestation in radish crops. Isolated eight strains of Beauveria bassiana and one strain of Metarhizium anisopliae from soil samples collected from surveyed fields. Performed morphological and molecular identification of the isolates and conducted bioassays to evaluate their pathogenicity against Phyllotreta striolata. This research provided comprehensive experience in insect rearing, entomopathogenic fungi isolation, identification, and efficacy evaluation for sustainable pest management
